Ten Books You’d Buy Right This Second If Someone Handed You A Fully Loaded Gift Card
I’m late to the party, but there’s 5 months left in the year so I’m going to give the My Readers Block colour-coded reading challenge a go. The rule is that “the color may either be named in the title or it may appear as the dominant color for the cover of the book“. Shades of each colour such as navy for blue etc. are allowed.
I’m struggling a little to think of books to read for green and brown, so any suggestions would be appreciated.
The Opal Deception by Eoin Colfer (Artemis Fowl, #4) (****) Another fast paced adventure from Artemis Fowl. The real stars of this particular book are definitely the female characters in my option. Holly Short is brave and selfless, risking her career (again!) to get the bad guy and protect Artemis and Butler. Opal is my favourite villain in the series so far, super smart and slightly insane – and I feel a kindred spirit in her love for chocolate truffles.
I wrote yesterday about how excited I was on the release of Pokémon Go, but disappointed that my phone just isn’t up to the challenge. Then I saw that Aentee @ readatmidnight is running a Pokémon ReadAThon, how can I resist? I’m still undecided on some so I’ve put a couple of options and will decided once I get to it.

This little guys has always been my favourite starter and just general favourite – choosing any other would just feel wrong.

I stole this reading challenge checklist from bookwyrmknits, (I think its from 2015 but that doesn’t matter) I thought it might help me sort through my TRB list in some kind of order. Often I’ve got so many choices I end up flailing around and just rereading something. I like checklists and this’ll make me more productive.
