All the Unread Books on My TBR

So I saw this on Browsing for Books, and I think the original idea came from Howling Libraries, and it seemed like such a great idea.

These are the unread physical books sitting on my bookshelves. It doesn’t include any ebooks or arcs etc. because that was just far too intimidating.

It was actually really interesting to put this together because it surprised me. I knew I had a lot of unread books, but I didn’t think it was this many. 76! How does that happen? I didn’t even think I owned that many physical books in total! There were also a good number of books which I’d somehow forgot all about. I’m pretty pleased that most of the books I haven’t read seem to have been bought it the past couple of years — although, there are a couple that are at least five years old, so I should really prioritise those.

The Books and Makeup Tag

This is a really fun, quick tag I saw Alexa Donne recently revive over on her YouTube channel. You can also check out the original video from sarawithoutanH. The videos for this tag are great fun to watch as the BookTubers are all doing their own makeup while answering the questions. Go check it out if you’re looking to kill an hour or two.

If you make your own version of this tag, I’d love to see it. Feel free to leave me a link to check out down in the comments. Continue reading “The Books and Makeup Tag”

Birthday Post: Bi-Girls in SFF

I’m a terrible blogger! I completely missed my first anniversary this month! I thought it was in July? Doh!

Anyway, to mark that, along with it being the last few days of Pride month and the fact that today is my birthday(!) here’s a very self-indulgent post.

I want to read more books with bisexual protagonists/ significant characters… but I’m not that keen on contemporary fiction, which is where it seems most common (although common is a bit misleading).

So here’s a list of bisexual girls in SFF. It’s by no means comprehensive. I’ve marked any that I’ve already read/ reviewed but the rest aren’t necessarily recs. Most are my TBR, but hopefully, by this time next year, I’ll be able to tick a lot of them off.  🙂
