I am currently CLOSED to review requests. Unfortunately, I simply do not currently have the time.
However, I am open to guest posts from authors who feel their books are a good fit for this blog (please check out the genres and types of books I feature). I’m also open to hosting essays and posts from fellow booklovers. A couple of example posts:
Guest Post: Jessica Hobson, “Damsel in Distress: The First Fairy Tale Trope“

For Info:
Formats I accept.
- ebooks (in formats able to be read on a Kindle e.g. mobi or unprotected PDF).
- Audiobooks.
- Physical copies — I should note that I’m located in the U.K.
- I accept both ARCs and finished copies.
Genre.
I do not review non-fiction books and very rarely read books which are purely romance, “chick-lit” or women’s fiction.
My taste in fiction largely lies in historical, cozy mystery and fantasy. Within SFF, I am interested in a wide variety of genres and themes including (but not limited to) paranormal, urban fantasy and retellings (both fairy tale and other).
Priority will always be given to diverse books, especially those featuring queer women as central characters.
I have no preference between adult and YA but, although I will accept MG, I may not be the best fit for these stories.
Reviews.
All reviews will be honest, even if they are negative.
Please allow for at least a month between my receiving the review copy and the review being posted.
Please Include the following In Your Review Request.
- the summary
- the release date
- If you have a time frame for when you would like the review to be posted.
Please send requests via the contact form or foxesfairytales (at) outlook (dot) com
