Ten New-to-Me Authors I Discovered in 2021

January 25: New-to-Me Authors I Discovered in 2021

Some of these authors I read only a single book but loved it, some of them I read as many as I could. Some were names I’d been meaning to try out for ages. All were great finds and I suspect I’ll read more from in the future.

Ruth Ware

Becky Chambers

Richard Osman

Sarah Fine

David R. Slayton

Elodie Harper

Jessica Townsend

Julie Abe

Stephanie Garber

Margaret Owen

  1. I discovered Becky Chambers in 2020, and I definitely need to read more of her books. Julie Abe is going on my list, after seeing it on a couple of lists today. I will be checking out a couple of your other authors/titles as well… the Stephanie Garber book looks intriguing!

  2. What a great list, Louise! Becky Chambers made my list too for the same book. ๐Ÿ™‚ I have read three of Ruth Ware’s books and enjoyed them to different degrees. I haven’t read the one you feature here though (I want to!). Thank you for sharing!
