January 25: New-to-Me Authors I Discovered in 2021
Some of these authors I read only a single book but loved it, some of them I read as many as I could. Some were names I’d been meaning to try out for ages. All were great finds and I suspect I’ll read more from in the future.

Ruth Ware
Becky Chambers
Richard Osman
Sarah Fine
David R. Slayton
Elodie Harper
Jessica Townsend
Julie Abe
Stephanie Garber
Margaret Owen
Jessica Townsend made my list as well this week. I love the Nevermoor series!!
Old favorites are Ruth Ware and Richard Osman.
Happy TTT!

Yaas Jessica Townsend! I love her the Nevermoor series so much 😍 I was also happy to discover Slayton’s book last year and I can’t wait to continue the series. Great list!

Great list! I am looking forward to The Thursday Murder Club, it just sounds so amusing. And more Becky Chambers, too!

I discovered Becky Chambers in 2020, and I definitely need to read more of her books. Julie Abe is going on my list, after seeing it on a couple of lists today. I will be checking out a couple of your other authors/titles as well… the Stephanie Garber book looks intriguing!

What a great list, Louise! Becky Chambers made my list too for the same book. 🙂 I have read three of Ruth Ware’s books and enjoyed them to different degrees. I haven’t read the one you feature here though (I want to!). Thank you for sharing!

In a Dark, Dark Wood probably, although that was my first by her. I have also read One by One and The Turn of the Key.

I gave my daughter the first book in the Nevermoor series for Christmas; I may have to borrow it from her for myself.

I adore the Nevermoor series so much! Becky Chambers was on my list for authors I wanted to get to last year and I didn’t get to her. I hope to change that this year!

Ruth Ware is great! I’ve read a couple books of hers, and she’s so good at writing the unreliable narrator. I think my favorite of hers is The Woman In Cabin 10. So creepy! Thanks for participating in TTT!
