Thank you again to Laura over at The Corner of Laura for nominating me. I’m not quite as far behind on this one as I was with the last, but it’s still been a while coming and I apologise.
Check out her questions and answers, and if you fancy it, answer the 11 questions I’ve posed at the end of the post.
Would you rather have seven dogs, seven cats or seven birds as pets?
I love cats and dogs but I think seven might be a few too many! So I’d go with birds.
What is your least favourite season and why?
Spring. It’s warm enough to go outside but not so warm as all I want to do is lay about. I love seeing the new growth and baby animals popping up.
What have you discovered this year (e.g. great TV show, hidden talent, etc)?
An author I discovered is T J Klune. I’ve been catching up on his backlist and pre-ordering his upcoming releases.
Is there anything from 2020 that you’re going to miss? Anything at all?
I’ve really enjoyed all the digital content that’s come out this year like at home Broadway performances and Zoom TV reunion chats. It’s nice to get a shot at things that wouldn’t usually be an option for those of us not in the US.
What song describes your life right now?
I don’t know about describes, but for me, the album of 2020 was Folklore by Taylor Swift. I rarely get hooked on new, non-soundtrack albums but I adore that one.
If you could turn yourself into an animal for an hour every day, which would it be?
Which fictional character would you love to move in with?
Kath from The Haunted Yarn Shop Mysteries. I love her house, her shop and her town. It’d be a lovely place to live (as long as you could avoid all the murderers).
Which book would you love to experience for the first time all over again?
Tamora Pierce’s Alanna, Wild Magic and Circle of Magic quartets.
Which show from your childhood would you love to see a reboot of?
I can’t think of any which haven’t already been rebooted or that I’d want to see.
Would you rather be given your weight in gold or your weight in books?
Gold. I love books, but I’m practical.
If you could live anywhere in the world (fictional places included), where would you live?
I change my mind about the kind of question all the time so maybe the castle in Beauty and the Beast? Then I could use the book from the live-action film to visit other places when I felt like it.
What’s your secret talent?
What’s the worst haircut you ever had?
Name something positive that happened for you in 2020.
Which book are you most looking forward to in 2021?
What’s your favourite scent?
What was the last film you watched?
What’s the saddest scene in a movie, book or TV series?
What did you Google last?
What’s your comfort book?
What’s your non-bookish comfort media (tv show, album, etc…)?
What skill or talent do you wish you had?
I’ve love to see your answers.
