Laura over at The Corner of Laura nominated me to fill out this tag a long time ago, but I’ve finally gotten around to it!
Check out her questions and answers, and if you fancy it, answer the 11 questions I’ve posed at the end of the post.
What was the last TV series you binged?
I’m pretty much always watching Law and Order: SVU in endless loops (it’s my brain-fluff, comfort show) but the one I’d say I binged most recently was One Tree Hill. I watched the last few seasons years and years ago, but I’ve never seen it from the start before.
UK peeps: It’s on 4OD.
Have you ever been in a reading slump? If so, what got you out of it?
It had a couple of slumps last year. I didn’t push myself to read, which helped, then when I did read I went for some calming cozy mysteries and rereading a few other favourites.
What’s your favourite way to travel (fantasy transportation included)?
Flying would be awesome. Not on a plane though, on a broomstick or as a bird.
Which book instantly makes you think of summer?
Camp by L C Rosen
Do you prefer reading in summer or winter?
I love sitting out in my garden when it’s warm in the summer and reading. Weirdly, I love paperbacks in the summer and ebooks in the winter?
Which Broadway/West End show would you love to see but haven’t yet?
Six and Hadestown
If you could be a Bender, what kind of Bender would you be?
I think the waterbenders are pretty cool.
Do you have a favourite type of tea/coffee? If so, what is it?
I don’t like tea at all but I’ll drink my coffee a few different ways. Usually really milky and/or with flavourings if I’m in the mood, but I also take it black with cream. I buy cheap coffee since I wouldn’t appreciate the good stuff.
What’s one thing in 2020 you’re still looking forward to (despite everything)?
Hah! Well, since I’m writing this post-2020, its a cheat, but I was looking forward to Christmas a lot. Now, I’m looking forward to my cousin having her baby so I can be an honoury Auntie.
What would the title of your autobiography be?
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
Some combination of “don’t ask, don’t get”, “better to beg forgiveness than ask permission” and “grant me the confidence of a mediocre white man”.
What’s the last book you loved?
What would you name your boat if you had one?
What’s the latest photo in your phone’s Gallery?
Which celebrity would you love to meet for a coffee?
What do you do to relax?
What do you do with books you’ve read?
What piece of creativity (writing, art, blogpost, acting role etc.) are you most proud of?
What’s your favourite meal?
Sea or mountains?
Favourite colour combination?
If you could switch two book characters around, who would you choose and what would happen?
I’d love to see your answers!
