How many books do you usually read at once?
At least two or three usually. I almost always have at least one audio-book and either an e- or physical book on the go. Sometimes I have extras if I’m just not in the mood for what I’ve been reading.
If you are reading more than one book at a time, how do you decide when to switch books?
Well, I use audio-books when I’m out walking or driving and I carry my kindle when I go down to my coffee shop. Sometimes I take a physical book out with me if I’m super hooked, but usually I save those for the house.
Do you ever switch bookmarks while you are partway through a book?
No. When I remember to use a bookmark it stays in the book the whole time.
Where do you keep the book(s) you are currently reading?
By the bed or in my handbag. Or on the sofa. Or on the kitchen table…
How long do you typically read in one setting?
It completely depends on what I’m doing.
Do you read hardbacks with the dust jacket on or off?
I always take them off to read.
What position do you mainly use to read?
Sitting at a table over coffee in the morning, lying down in bed at night.
Do you take the book you are currently reading with you everywhere?
It depends on how engrossed I am, how big the book is, and whether I’m walking of taking the car.
How often do you update your Goodreads progress on the book you’re currently reading?
I add it to the ‘Currently Reading’ shelf when I start and mark it as ‘Read’ when I’m done. That’s it.
