TTT: Books I’d Like to Reread Someday

top ten tuesday

May 21: Books That I Refuse to Let Anyone Touch (too special/valuable, perhaps?)(submitted by Savannah Grace @ Scattered Scribblings)Β

I’ve cheated a bit this week and changed the topic. Here are some books I’d like to get around to rereading someday.

Which books would you like to reread?

Under the Pendulum Sun

Under the Pendulum Sun by Jeannette Ng

GoodreadsBook DepositoryWorderyMy Review

I loved this lush Gothic mystery and I think I’d like to go back and see all the twists and turns from a new point-of-view.

Discworld-Library-re-issue-wide-1-1024x538The Discworld series by Terry Pratchett

Goodreads

I’ve read this series a few times already and luckily it’s in sort of subseries, so it’s easy to break into smaller pieces. I’ve started rereading the Witches and Death books this year and plan to continue into next year.

Shadows & Dreams (Kate Kane, Paranormal Investigator, #2)Shadows & Dreams by Alexis Hall

GoodreadsBook DepositoryWordery My Review

This is one of my favourite urban fantasy series, and I’ve been waiting for the third instalment for ages. I reread the first book already this year and I’d like to reread this one too before the new one comes out.

stormfrontdresdenfilesThe Dresden Files series by Jim Butcher

Goodreads

Pretty much as above. I’d like to reread some of these books before book 16 comes out.

A Thousand ShipsA Thousand Ships by Natalie Haynes

GoodreadsBook DepositoryWorderyMy Review

I literally only read this one last month, but I loved it and wanted to reread practically as soon as I put it down.

Twelve Slays of Christmas (A Christmas Tree Farm Mystery #1)

Christmas Tree Farm Mystery series by Jacqueline Frost

GoodreadsBook DepositoryWordery My Review

I loved these two Christmas cozy mysteries, I’d like to reread them in December. Hopefully, a third book will come out too.

    1. Sometimes I think that’s the downside of getting into the requesting/ reviewing ARCs cycle. Sometimes there’s just not enough time for everything else.

  1. I didn’t do the official TTT topic this week either. I like your choice of topic! I also want to re-read the Dresden Files, but I never got past book 4 (I think) so I’m hoping to like it enough to keep going this time around.

      1. Thanks, I remember wanting to love them when I read them initially, but I don’t remember why I didn’t. Hopefully I’ll be in a better place to enjoy them when I get back to them.

          1. Could be, or I could have just been in the wrong place in my head to enjoy them when I read them initially. I had one relationship a while back that put me in a bad way emotionally for a while, and I don’t remember if that was when I read these before.

  2. I’d like to reread the Carve the Mark duology and the Shadowhunter’s books. The first I hope to reread this summer, and the second maybe this winter? I’ll probably reread the Ember in the Ashes books before the final book comes out next year.

  3. This was kind of a tough topic. I almost switched it up too. anyway I love the look of Twelve Slay of Christmas! And I’ve never read the Discworld books- I’ve often wondered if I’d like them.
