Here are the films and shows I’ve been watching over the past couple of months. Have you seen any of these? Did you like them?
Glitzy and Glamourous
All of these movies were such stunning and dramatic films. La Belle et la Bête maybe wasn’t my favourite Beauty and the Beast story-wise but the gorgeous costumes and sets really blew me away.
Dumplin’ (2018) [available via Netflix] 😍
The Greatest Showman (2017) [available via Sky UK] 😍
La Belle et la Bête (2014) [available via Sky UK] 😍
Edge of Your Seat Action
Bird Box was such a tense movie: I was worried the whole time! I also really loved John Malkovich’s character.
In Time [available via Sky UK] 😐
Last Knights (2015) [available via Netflix] 😐
Bird Box (2018) [available via Netflix] 🙂
Laugh Out Loud
Peter Rabbit was such a shock for me! I was expecting to grin and bear it, but I was in peels of laughter from start to finish.
Peter Rabbit (2018) [available via Sky UK] 😍
The Office U.S. (2005-2013) [borrowed DVD] 😍
Tucker and Dale vs Evil (2010) [available via Netflix] 😍
Game Night (2018) [available via Sky UK] 🙂
Bookish Adaptions
None of these blew me away, but I found Mary Shelley pretty interesting.
Mary Shelley (2017) [available via Netflix] 🙂
Ready Player One (2018) [available via Sky UK] 😠
The Lady Vanishes (2017) [available via Netflix] 😐
The Witches of Eastwick (1987) [available via Sky UK] 😠
The ABC Murders (2018) [available via BBC One] 😠
I’m definitely interested in the Mary Shelley movie! And Elle Fanning is so pretty.

She is! And she’s really compelling in it too.

Hoping to watch Bird Box and then read the novel. I heard the two are really different so I figured I would do it in that order so I wouldn’t be so distracted by the changes, LoL.

Oh really? I had no idea that they were pretty different. That’s interesting… I wasn’t planning in reading the book, but I might want to now to see what changes they made.

From what I hear, the ending is one of the big differences in the Bird Box versions. I don’t plan on either reading or watching it, though (not my genre) so I’ll have to go with second-hand info on that one.

… tempted to Google… 🤫

That’s what I did… but I gave in to temptation since I had no desire to read/watch it. 😉

I was Mary Shelley a couple of days ago and really loved it! I also saw The Bookshop, which is also on Netflix, if you are interested in other bookish movies 🙂

Ooo! I spotted The Bookshop actually! I added it to My List but I wasn’t quite sure about it. How did you enjoy it?
