The Cruel Prince made my top 10 too. I need to read The Bear and the Nightingale this year, and then I’ll probably end up reading The Girl in the Tower. Everless was good too.
Happy New Year!

The Girl in the Tower and To Kill a Kingdom were two of my favourite books of 2018. Arden’s writing is simply magical and I loved Christo’s twisted retelling.
I really want to read Sugar Spells, but I haven’t been able to get my hands on it.
Happy New Year!

Great list! I haven’t read any of these yet — very few of my 2018 reads were from 2018. I plan to read more new releases in 2019, though, so we’ll see how good a job I do on that one.
I really want to read To Kill a Kingdom and the Winternight trilogy, though, so hopefully I’ll enjoy them as much as you did!

To Kill a Kingdom was on my list and The Cruel Prince was a close second! I ran a little bit behind on 2018 releases this year, so I haven’t read many of the other books on your list yet. My task for 2019 is to balance out my reading of new books, ARCs, and backlist books so that I don’t fall too terribly behind again. Anyway, thanks for the great list and I hope you have a great year!

I hope your 2019 is off to a great start. Getting the balance right between backlist, new and advance reading is so tricky. I’m trying to find a happy medium too. 😊
