  1. Great list! I haven’t read any of these yet — very few of my 2018 reads were from 2018. I plan to read more new releases in 2019, though, so we’ll see how good a job I do on that one.

I really want to read To Kill a Kingdom and the Winternight trilogy, though, so hopefully I’ll enjoy them as much as you did!

  2. Great list! I love the cover of Sugar Spells and Tough Mothers sounds so fun. I need to read some Katherine Arden soon and I still need to get to The Cruel Prince!

  3. To Kill a Kingdom was on my list and The Cruel Prince was a close second! I ran a little bit behind on 2018 releases this year, so I haven’t read many of the other books on your list yet. My task for 2019 is to balance out my reading of new books, ARCs, and backlist books so that I don’t fall too terribly behind again. Anyway, thanks for the great list and I hope you have a great year!

    1. I hope your 2019 is off to a great start. Getting the balance right between backlist, new and advance reading is so tricky. I’m trying to find a happy medium too. 😊
