July Blog Love

Today I’d like to share some of my favourite book community blog posts from July and some of the book reviews I’ve enjoyed reading this month. I hope you find something here that interests you too.

My First State of The ARC: July
Destiny @ Howling Libraries
I’ve seen the State of The ARC meme floating around for a while and been tempted to join in, but all those numbers can be off-putting. Seeing how Destiny set hers up is really inspiring.

YALC 2018 Recap (Day One)
Jo @ BookLoversBlog
I’m so sad that I couldn’t make it to YALC this year! I had so much fun there last time. I’m really hoping I can arrange to go again next year. If like me, you want to live vicariously, Jo has a really great account of her experience you can read.

Underrated Contemporaries
Lili @ Utopia State of Mind
I’m not always the biggest fan of contemporaries, but sometimes I’m just in the perfect mood for one. Lili’s put together a great list to tempt even me, and given me some new additions for my TBR.

Books I’m Rethinking My Rating On
Heather @ The Sassy Book Geek
It’s great to see that I’m not the only one who does this! And it’s really interesting to read Heather’s reasoning behind how her opinions have changed.

Quick Kindle steals (Vol 1): Books you can buy for $1.99 or less!
Shealea @ That Bookshelf Bitch
I don’t think I really need to add anything to that title, do I? Shealea is putting together some really great (and incredibly useful) resources for readers on a budget.

Review: To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before
Danielle @ Life of a Literary Nerd
With the awesome-looking movie coming to Netflix soon, I’ve been tempted to pick this one up even though it’s not my usual thing. Danielle’s review is really pushing me towards giving it a try.

Review: A Thousand Beginnings and Endings
Joana @ Bookneeders
Anthologies can be hard to rate, but Joana has broken this one down and shared both a rating and her thoughts for each story. I definitely need to pick this book up.

Review: The Tethered Mage
imyril @ x+1
I’ve seen this floating around but didn’t really know anything beyond it’s having a beautiful cover. imyril‘s review breaks it down nicely and has really convinced me to find myself a copy.

Happy reading and blogging in August everyone!
