TTT: Discworld Quotes


Officially, this week’s Top Ten Tuesday topic is Best Character Names, but I struggled to come up with a good variety for my list (mostly Harry Potter). Since a few of my favourite names are from Terry Pratchett’s Discworld series (Magrat Garlick, Esmerelda Margaret Note Spelling of Lancre, Moist von Lipwig), I thought I’d roll with that and give you a list of my favourite Discworld quotes instead — See!   1. Great take on the topic! I’m glad that you took us on your journey for how you got to this list. I agree with you that the Discworld books have some great names in them, and I love the quotes you picked!

  2. Ooh I’ve never read Pratchett but he does seem to have cool names! I LOVE that oine from Feet of Clay about the slums- ha ha so true! I like the two from Jingo and the one from Rites too. Clearly I need to read some Pratchett!
